Gravity flow rack

Many manufacturers involved standard KLT containers in their operations. Such containers have several typical sizes, based on which you can easily design and assemble a gravity flow rack.

 And this project was implemented by FAM-Robotics on one of the body parts factories. A three-tier rack consists of two top shelves, on which a loading vehicle puts containers with needed parts. The vehicle collects empty containers from the third rack located below. Thus, a continuous production process is ensured — a worker always has an access to parts. And his work space is not cluttered with empty containers.

 Gravity flow racks are a simple and convenient work process optimization tool. They can easily be used in assembly lines, as well as warehousing complexes as means of temporary storage and product sorting.
